The client Aviko wanted to add QR codes to their packages to attract more visitors. I brought onto the project to handle the functionality. First I brainstormed with the client on the requirements and mapped out the idea with a colleague.

The solution was to create a subdomain with an Express (Node.js) server that would handle the location of the user and redirect the user to the correct landingpage. And this server would communicate with the Drupal CMS in GraphQL to retrieve the correct redirect URL given the parameters. It was important that the redirects would be manageable in the CMS because in the future they will add and change these redirects to other pages.

When it was finished and tested I gave a talk or demo about it to my iO Campus Rotterdam colleagues, where I pitched the entire idea and explain the functionality.
